The Best Friend's Lot in Life.

Blissful exclamations,
your love of love,
in a high-pitched voice.

Be happy, yes, be in love,
and if it turns out badly
I'm here to sweep up the pieces.

I love you for loving,
even though you're not loving me,
and your bubbling enthusiasm
is the source of all songs.

You're not scared of rejection,
you glance at it curiously,
biting your tongue but still singing.

I love you for loving
and I hate to know what you don't.

(It will always end in tears.)

John Ashleigh
- You're not scared of rejection,
you glance at it curiously.

That sentance there really struck me, it makes the reader curious of what is behind the mask of love. Brilliant poem, keep it up!
