Immaculate Deception
When voting on Election Day
In our democratic nation
We voted them in and hoped that they
Would fulfill their obligations
Once elected they took command
In a way that we deplore
This ruling group got out of hand
They forgot it's us they work for
They promised this and promised that
Most sincerely, pre-election
But now we know it was just chit-chat
