when fingers point and lies are spoken, lives are forever changed.

Rides the Judgement

down that path of rocks and briars
lies the wealth of wanton hours
in the dungeon of heartless towers
gathering mold, becoming sour
all that's done and said in haste
lingers now behind locked gates
oozing breath that reeks of hate
sickened soul and death the fate
rides the judgement on darkened horse
tearing through this evil course
rendering pain without remorse
with the sword of fearless force
slashing with self-righteousness
spearing life through recklessness
all in hopes of being blessed
by its own vile willingness
to doom.

Great poem Kathy, judgement lies only in one true hand. Having a conscience or not lies in ours. I hope all is well with you, Tai

An awesome statement. A monument to the truth of the matter at hand, so brilliantly sculpted, it is like Michaelangelo statuary in words.
