A Voters Lament
Republicans and Democrats
Agree to disagree
Politically they're bureaucrats
Conformists-bourgeois
We know they just aspire to
Winning the elections
We might admire one or two
But, most should get rejections
They hope to be our nominees
And join the ruling class
And drown us with their guarantees
Which never come to pass
Giving speeches, so convincing
With facts that they revise
Have men of good will wincing
Besmirched by all their lies
Politicians, left and right
Forgo those aspirations
We citizens would so delight
In your finding new vocations
