Death Behind bars

The bars hold me back
The cell is small
Not even a mouse
Through these gaps can crawl

What is my punishment
What have they judged
On my portrait at home
My face is smudged

Looking down the hallway of doom
It seems flat and tar'd
Walking the green mile
Will be hard

My mind is shattered
And confused
On the warden and govenders faces
They look amused

Its cold and creepy
What do you think
My life could be over
Within a blink

The chair awaits me
Volts through my vein
Eventually ,
All I will have is a body
With an empty brain.
