Ok i lied! :-)

A beautiful world

In the distance the future ripples
and the wind of time calls our name
shadows chasing search for place
and the sky falls a little closer.

Emotions stretch the violins voice
the universe listens and cries
creation drowns in a wake of dreams
distorted and gouged by the greed of I.

It says in the 'write a comment' box: "rate the text, is it worth reading?" ... well, must I really type out the words to state the obvious?? ;) I said it already, but what the hey, I can't come back and say the opposite - this is marvellous poetry. The gentleness in your expressions is one of the aspects I adore of your writing - aside the imagery and feel of your words :) Very beautiful :) Moi xx

What a flow, such delicate words...

a very good one riky

Zoya Zaidi
And Slowly does the violin play
The song of love, so far away
And the wind carries the song
on its winds calmly along
To distant land where belong
My love, who for me longs...

How beautifully and sensitively you put your feeling in words, it is always an experience of inner sorts whenever I read your poems, dear Friend.

Love, Zoya

Cool i like it is really a beautifull world all lines are the best

hey little cabbage lolol ;) an observation on the ways of humankind is what i perceive in these words... from my interpretation, the ugliness of it all is expressed with impact and well-portraying imagery... a really good poem... :) *hugs* xx

i am left in awe of your ability to evoke such deeply felt emotions and all the while the violins play the song in the key of tears.
