Perhaps not everyone knows what trouble they're in, until they're out. 12 May 2007. John Ashleigh.

A decoy.

The missing, I've seen you cry.
A blessing; for an awkward eye.
And the rivers weep with you.

The hidden, I've seen you near.
A blessing; for it's not all clear.
And the earth hides with you.

The trapped, I've heard you walk.
A blessing, for you can still talk.
The missing,
The hidden,
Are implicated with you.

And someone said once that a life without trouble is not a life at all, and if it were not so a life without trouble has no intense joy either. Those close at heart are 'implicated' whether they choose to participate in one's journey or not.
