my car broke down AGAIN.Same problem I paid to have fixed in January now has returned just as the warranty ran out last month.

GRRRRRRRRRR!

cars i hate them
no, i love them
no I despise them

broken cars drain me
and strain me

and leave me incompleted

depleted of my funds

no wheels

oh the ills of

immobility

grrrrrroan

mmmmmoan

woe is me

i am stuck
out of luck

in captivity
this reality

makes me sigh

so i close my eyes
and sleep

to keep

my sanity

if only in my dreams

this made me think of my dear old Betsy (Sunbird 1987, the fancy model of that year lol) that car was so bad on stranding us on the side of the road that my son, who was two years old at the time, when i was just parking the car in our lot one time, he said: oh. car broken. lol you describe very well the other joys of having a car :) hope your car's fixed (or replaced) soon *hugs* xx

U should by a new one if it is loan just get it. My dad and i have always bee disagreeing on the issue of his ramshackle car he says there is no money to buy a new car and he would not take loans i hope that will not be your answer.

I love the topic of this poem

bummer! as we used to say in our younger days. Somehow not having our car is frightening. Here in the good old USA, we are very mobile and have to be because we have to drive a distance to the grocers, a distance to the doctors, a distance to church, and so on. We are a free from restraints society. Our cars get us from place to place. In 15 minutes drivinging we can to the grocers. In 15 minutes driving we can get to the doctor, the lawer and the indian chief! For me it takes 20 min. driving to get to church. But let me tell you I would not have time to walk to any of these places. And if I did walk to the grocer I could carry back so little, I'd have to make the trip every day! Nope! we have to have our cars. Only a minute percentage of us live in "villages" where everything is in walking distance. And most of us in the subdivisions outside of towns don't have bus services. Taxi's are way too expenses. Nope! We have got to have CARS!!
