Do I Hate The World?

Do I?
Or don't I?
'Tis something in the world,
That I hate,
For there is something else I love,

If I love this world,
Then why do I hate?
Or rather, if I hate this world,
Then why do I love?

But really,
Can you hate without having first loved?
Perhaps...

Or are love and hate so opposite,
That they are joined in matrimony,
Perhaps not holy matrimony,
For only love is holy,

So, perhaps the title,
Of this poem,
Should be life!
