beauty surrounded us, infected us, became us

Soft Serenity Along the Tweed

purple flowers

mixed among golden hours

trailing autumn dreams

white-capped river's stream

willows wispy sway

in green banks play

tawny robin calls

misty raindrops fall

winds stirring my soul

cool like satin blow

watching you walk in peace

holding my hand with ease

soft serenity along the Tweed

as you and I come in need

of our togetherness

This reads like a day dream come true. It is a day dream come true!! It is a prayer answered. It is a perfect day. They come along once in a while. This one reads like a God-planned day, a gift to you and Michael.

I love especially the last two lines:
as you and I come in need
of our togetherness
They are so very expressive!

Soft and filled with love and I especially loved the ending. Great writing with words spoken directly from your heart. Beautiful!

Katherine you have captured the absolute beauty of that wonderflu day we walked hand in hand along hallowed banks and i recall the thrill in your voice when the Robin came to sing for us. You looked so beautiful in your tartan Serape and i remember wrapping my coat around you to keep you warm from the cool wind. It remember your cheeks were cold when I kissed you It was a beautiful moment the serenity and peace we found and there will be lots of more days like it my darling

Nature coming hand-in-hand like people holding hand to hand. Isn't it a beauty to think and feel about it? lovely scenic words my friend. Especially these:

watching you walk in peace

holding my hand with ease

soft serenity along the Tweed

as you and I come in need

of our togetherness
