Inspired by the Cure. One of the few metered poems I've ever written.

In a Chain of Flowers

Little girl, point me on my way
Down field forgotten, fade to grey
Where the worried weary rest their
Ashen heads on disarray

Find me there, somehow, some way,
On the friendless field, kneel down to pray
Innocently the forgotten sleep
Amidst the clover's dark decay

Lead me there, so far away
In the fearful field, return someday
I'll be sleeping like a marble girl
In a chain of flowers, death's bouquet

Zoya Zaidi
A full of poise piece!
What troubles me, little one,
are your constant, reccurrent themes of Death!!!
Why this fascination with death ?
at such a young age...
almost to the point of obsessions!!!
Beats me!!!
Could you enlighten me on that?
I some times worry about you!
You know,Inked, sweet heart!!
((((Hugs for that precociousness in you!))))))))
Love, xxx, Zoya

Black Knight
I'll find you there, at the lake,
A sleeping girl who'll never wake.
Who'll give me answer now: why
You in the Death embrace, not mine?
