Sweet obsession
Are we obsessed or just possessed,
and what with if not with each other?
But it is a sweet obsession
and the loveliest possession
for as long as we may keep it,
and it seems to be for quite some time,
since it is hardly possible to see an end on it.
It is perhaps a blessedness to take well care of
and enjoy as one of life's most golden moments,
which apparently may last for quite some time,
since so far we have failed to end it,
although we have bravely tried indeed.
So maybe after all it is worth holding on to
since it's so reluctant to leave us in peace.
