Knife and Fork
When feasting on food in a diner
On beef or Kentucky fried chicken
If the diner's located in China
You'll doubtless be going chopstick-en
In the good old U S of A
Very few chopsticks abound
It's considered good taste and okay
To be knife-in and fork-in around
In the culture of U.S. dining
Knives and forks are most opportune
Americans think it's refining
To be eating with knife, fork and spoon
We seem to enjoy food the most
Using these customary utensils
So we offer our bistros a toast
For serving with utensil essentials
