What is Love?

What is love?
Is it something you share between someone?
Perhaps someone close?
Someone who loves you,
For the same reasons?
Someone who shares your likeings?

Is love a present,
Rapped up so fancy, so perfect?
Or is it a card,
Plain with a few misspellings here and there?
Is love a jet,
Where it takes off right away?
Or is it a turtle,
Slow, steady, and careful?
Is love the speed of light,
So quick and bright?
Or is it the wind,
So silent and invisible?
Is it a sword,
So sharp, and painful,
When stabbed at your heart?
Or maybe its a simple prick,
So small, yet shocking?

Questions fill the air,
What sounds like people whispering.
Be quiet,
Be still.
And maybe you'll hear the answers

first of i must say that this is a beautiful poem..nicely done..

love !!!???? what is love?? it always confuses me? i can never get the answer..

for some people love is nothing , and for others love is everything..I "WAS" one of them (love is nothing)
we cant describe love in words , it is a just a feeling that can be felt only..sometimes we cant find the wrods to express our feelings as usually happens to me..

I love "Someone" does she love me?? these kinds of question make us more confusive than anything..

for me what is love....

i am going to write all those things that i observed..

"Love is a wait that never ends"

.(i was not like this that i wait for Someone for a long time but she never comes, but nowdays i have forgotton so much)

Love is a precious gift, everyone cant give this to anyone .

Love is a flower, that has a sweet fragrance , but for just a moments after that it becomes nothing

Love doesnt see the ages..

Love is pure but some people make it dirty

Love can be a light ( as you said) so we say love at first sight

Love is jet, that can crash sometimes and ruin many lives heheh

Love is wind ( i appreciate you)

Love is a peace

Luv is Everything..

Two Best friends can become lovers, but two lovers cant become best friends

I LOVE YOU ,,,,,,these are the three simple words but one must be very brave to say these to SOMEONE

Love makes the people ONE

Love is blind having eyes
