Leave it to me to
Invoke some
Terrible crisis on myself;
To tell myself I'm a
Letdown and a failure until
Every little flaw is a

Kilamanjaro.
Everyone---friends, family---
Leaves me to my despair
Lets me languish; except for
You.

Knowing in your own ways how to help remove
All the unnecessary
Thoughts from my messed-up little
Head,
You collectively tell me this

That I do deserve to be
Happy
And taken care of
Not neglected or
Kicked out of life

You help extract any
Old hurts, pointless concerns, and
Useless worries

Sort of like the appendix
Of my mind

Making it easier to
Understand, to see
Clearly once more that
Happiness is just a tick away

A truly uplifting read my friend, thank god for friends huh?
