Today Was Supposed To Be The Day
Today was supposed to be the dayWhere I finally said how I truley feel
The day where the world was no longer grey
And my heart was no longer steel.
Today was supposed to be the day
Where you said 'I love you too"
But of course, I shyed away
From confessing everything to you.
Today was supposed to be the day
Where I was supposed be held in your arms
Where I would no longer be on display
Where I would be captured by your charm.
Today was supposed to be the day
Where I kissed you shortly on the cheek
Because of the lack of words to say
My feelings for you are so unique
Today was supposed to be the day
Where you felt the same way about me
But thoughs thoughts only left me dreaming
About what could possibly come my way.
