So it begins...


The Epic Adventures of Katy and Tom, Part One.

So Katy
loved three things in equal measure:
adventure, the ocean, and men

So in her early twenties she was a lieutenant
in the United States Navy

Tom at that time was with the Peace Corps

He did very good work there
but he wasn't satisfied

and quite frankly neither were they

So he left
and moved to New York City
where Katy
was now an aspiring electric violinist extraordinaire

but she was doing a really shitty job of it

So one night Tom happened upon this nightclub
where Katy happened to be playing

It was a godawful sound
but she looked gorgeous
and Tom was tone-deaf anyway

So he might have fallen in love with her
and she might have fallen in love with him too
and they might have run away to Holland together

But then again maybe they didn't
I guess you won't find any of that out until Part Two
