Just playing around with alliteration and assonance. Language is my lover.

Come with me where the ribbon river flows

Come with me where the ribbon river flows
around the specks of cherished checkered blooms
Where moonlight's silver gardens in their rows
grow glowing golden flax for daytime's looms
Upon which sparkling sunlight shall be spun
and whirled into a brightly beaming ball
From which the sunbeams' seams may be undone
to send the friendly light upon us all
Come walk with me and wade with weary feet
within the soothing water's waiting love
Just take my hand and stand where currents greet
and woo the gentle moon who hangs above
Whose smooth reflection smiling softly there
forever keeps us both within her care
