Its The Only Way
I may not be the bestI may not be the one
But I am different from the rest
My heart is difficult to be won
I may not be that smart
I may not be that short
But at least for a start
I'll be around for support
I won't ever turn my back on you
I won't ever lie about my friendship
I will be here to make it through
And catch you when you trip
You can always trust me
I won't ever shut the door
Because you can see
Thats what friends are for
We may never be anymore than that
And I'm happy with it going that far
Because thats as good as it can get
With out being your one and only star
Although if your willing to try
I'll be here all day
Because I hate saying good bye
When theres always an option to stay.
You'll be mine
And I'll be yours
Our hearts will be intertwined
And we will need nothing more.
But for now
Friends we will stay
Some times I ask how?
And the answer is always "Its the only way"
