I can do without the kissesI can do without the sweets

And still be the only sane person on the street
I can do without the words "I love you"
I can do without the romance
I can do without the arrows and hearts
Because I don't want to take the chance
Its not because I'm selfish
Its not because I'm afraid
Its because every Valentines Day
Good Luck and Bad Luck always want to trade
I have never had a heartfelt Valentine
From the one I love most in the day
Because they always leave me
And all the hearts and kisses go away
I know that presents don't bring happiness
And love doesn't always work out
But it would be nice once in a while
That all romance I didn't have to live without
