A funny true story about a day in Darwin, had to share for a laugh!

Bikini Bowling

"Why don't you come bowling?"
I think, yeah sounds like fun
I've just got out of the swimming pool
The temperature fourty one

"We'll be there in a few minutes"
So there isn't time to change
I throw a sarong over my bikini
Although I feel a little strange

We make it to the alley
I chose a pair of shoes
In a green sari and bowling flats
I'm feeling like a stooge

I select my bowl, feel its weight
Lodge my fingers in the grooves
I take a big sweeping step
So keen to show my moves

My five friends all around me
I shoot them a "Watch this!" smile
I roll the ball, sarong and all
Goes tumbling down the aisle!

I must have lodged it in the hole
As I "flashed" my bowling skill
Now they stand around me like soldiers
While I'm feeling like a dill!

I swear I hadn't noticed
'Till around me they did rally
They tell me it was news for months,
The bikini girl in the bowling alley!

The next time I visit Darwin
To show my bowl prowess
I'll keep one eye on the ball
And the other, on my dress!
