Blow Your Bugle, Soldier Man

Blow your bugle, soldier man
For our young heroes
In their flag covered boxes

In the few years they lived
We taught them
How to die for
Love of country

They are home now
Blow your bugle, soldier man
Blow Taps
It's lights out

A great poem , Stan , as always with Dons great art to match. THEY send our lads our bys and now our girls , woman too goo and fight in their wars. But not how to die , that they lern fore them self's. It's usely with the soldger boy /girl crying thear last moments out to thear mum/mom/mother . At the start of ww1 the prime minister was called Aquith. Shortly after the start of the war one of his sons was killed in France , soon after Aquith resigned .

And srill they send our young too kill and die , to lay under the sod , saying '' so that is all thear is?''
