Trois-par-Huit Challenge

Write a Trois-par-Huit, which is an 8 line poem, which has:

1. three stanzas of 3,3,2 or 3,2,3 lines;

2. a syllable count per line of 3,6,9,12,12,9,6,3; and

3. a rhyme scheme of AAB BBC CC (or, in the 3,2,3, line stanza, AAB BB CCC).

The last line of the poem should be the title of the piece and should summarize what the poem is about.

There are now several examples on PoetBay, if you would like to see one before you try.

As always, this challenge is open to every single member of the bay. Try it. You'll have fun, and be disciplining your poetic talents all at the same time. The challenge is open for 10 days; so, take your time, or not, as your muses direct you.

Please indicate in your titles that your poems are contributions to this challenge. We will collect them all and post them after the challenge ends.
