A mini-saga.
life was initially very good
his mother dot had a parent's thesis
that he should not be bracketed
or labelled
mark's father would be released soon
as he was at the end of his sentence
dot got mark into line
she counselled him when he was excited
exclamation mark
she urged him to be quizzical
question mark
she wanted him to be a man of letters
so much so that she awarded him
a post trophy
but mark became ill
he dashed to hospital
dot was at his side
the news was bad
half of his colon was missing
yes a semi colon
mark worsened
he became typo
he fell into a deep comma
sadly marks short life
came to a full stop
dot thought it a fitting end
