The place time forgot

In the place time forgot
I'm still here waiting on your return
In the place we laughed a lot
I do nothing but think of your smile
In the place we shouted and raged
I think how we used to make up
In the place where we cried
I think how we comforted each other
In the place i fell ill
I think about the times you picked me up, bring me my medicine and many sleepless nights
In the Place where we used to stress
I think about how we showered and washed the problems away
In the place i found out more than i bargained for
I did not say a word, not even a peep
In the place we returned to form our first holiday
I think how we reminisce
In the place i was left alone too much
Too much to handle, Too much to think
In the place i found the text
The place i left and in time
The place will be forgotten

Achernar
A sad, even potently sad poem, and so lovely. It is said that the sadest words in English are "might have been" and this poem shout those words thoughout... loved it, loved it!
