A Place Within My Heart
What can I tell you that has not been said?What can I write that you have not read?
I feel you slipping away from me
And that just makes me sad.
I know I never had you,
Am I completely mad?
How can I show you my love for you is real?
Am I a fool for saying how I feel?
There's nothing I won't do
To let you know I care.
There is so much love in me
I wish you'd let me share.
Is this the beginning, or is this the end?
I feel the hurting, I'm trying to pretend.
It hurts when the one you love
Does not feel the same.
Darlin' I'm not crazy
But this is driving me insane.
Where is this poem going? Tell me, what's the use?
Should I stay or go? It's up to you to choose.
You know how I feel, babe.
You've known right from the start.
No matter what you'll always have
A place within my heart.
