blue purple greets spring
growing under snow, the crocus
sun shines through the valley
birds in color from cave to cave
bringing love letters to his sweatheart
blue sky and green earth greets
crocus finally bows tired but
the violet continues with a whirling dance
a flock of cranes passes
as a gift to the one
that got good news from a lover
