I Do Not Want To Be A Rabbit

I do not want to be a rabbit
Such a tiring animal
With all movements so insistent
Pulsating so hard-
So nervous underneath
With eyes so easily terrorised
With ears so large and tweakable
All wrapped up in cuddly pelts.

Poor bunnies.

If these things can be arranged
I am going to be a sloth.
If I can be bothered.

LOL ... and here I had you pegged as the "Mad Hatter" type, Linda. This poem is fun. :-)

If these things can be arranged . . . I knew someone who wanted to be a chocolate cake! Me, I think I'd be a cello.

It's obvious that you didn't get to meet our rabbit Joakim, who was clearly the reincarnation of some great guru :)

Thanks, a lovely text :)

I think the worst would be to come back as a winter tyre. I think I might relish being a pampered cat...at least for a while.
Rabbits are like perennial teenagers strung out on espresso.
