See Him, the one and only

Taking place. Between you. I see you as you are and love is strong in us.
Choosing side and taking part in elections are tough. We ask ourselves what we are doing with our lives. What do we want to do? Making a difference maybe? Helping someone to the better? Going to parties and making everyday life a joy is some people doing. Some are just sitting stirring in the wall thinking and waiting for someone to call and just talk to him/her. We all have our lives planed and stretched out to the max and that curve of life is the curve we can't change. The road is long and every now and then the road is in need of a repair. Bridges collapse and life stops without warning. Life takes a drastic turn and takes the freeway instead of the highway.

Somewhere, life turns. For the better and for the worse. It is not our choice or task to lay down the asphalt. We only walk on it, looking up to see the turns and ditches. But on this road there isn't only asphalt. Our life is here. And when that bridge collapses we pray, and maybe God comes to us and builds us a new bridge even more solid that the before. God sees us. Can we see him? I don't know.

Let me tell you a story. My weekday is like the most. I have a granddaughter, five years old. Just last week she turned to me and asked a question she has been thinking of for a long time. She asked me: Grandpa. Is it possible to see God? I looked in to the blue outside the window and then I turned and answered: Right know, everywhere I turn I see God. She smiled and jumped of my knee to play along with her friends at the backyard.

Clear your mind of thinking for just a second. Look around and think: Can I see God? When you meet your daughter/son after a long days work. When you eat homemade buns and drinking lemonade at your grandparents home. When you hug someone or making them smile. Isn't there just a little God in that? Isn't God among you at these moments? Tell me what you think. Tell me your feelings.

We are back at the road. Repairs have been done and you walk along the side looking out at the sunflower fields. The sun is shining and your sunglasses are making their purpose. God walks along with you but he looks forward, telling you all the impediments on the way and how to clear them. Sometimes it takes time and that is when you have a rough time at work, home, with your family or with your friends. No life is perfect. Every life is perfect. No life can be lived to the fullest. Every life can be lived to the fullest. Questions we always hesitate on. Questions we have to stop and think of what way to take, freeway or highway. Which one is the safest and which one is the one with most action and excitement.

Don't choose wisely, you don't get to old to choose. The road splits all the time and when you pass along up to heaven the road divides up and many more options come up. Life continues. Don't listen to people who say: don't be sad, be happy and don't worry about the past or the future. Be sad. Grief over the loved ones that dies. Be mad. Smash things to make your anger leave your body. Take your time because you don't get that time later. The road can't be self repaired. It can't take you to the end without a broken bridge or a dark forest at the sides. Life is too meaningful to have such a road. Don't take the car or the train. The crash makes you crash down your live and it is much harder to repair such damage. Walk and let God show you the way. Let Him be your guide in the dark forest and over the broken bridge. Life will come along easier and the implements will get easier. Make Him walk before you. Make Him talk to you. See Him. See Him as he really is. A protector.
