Temporary Lapse
Confidence once filled my nervesHardening them like concrete
I felt invincible to all
Especially sadness and loneliness
The only feeling I felt
Was numb
But now that confidence is gone
My nerves twinge with anxiety
I feel the weight of it all on me
Especially sadness and loneliness
The only feeling I feel
Is pain
Hopefully my confidence will grow
And help to strengthen my nerves
I do not want to feel anything
Especially sadness and loneliness
The only feeling I want to feel
Is happiness
