as I found his book on the first page with poetry written for me, I am overcome with tears and longing for what was and what might have been.

To The Last Romantic Hero

If I had you here, I would truly be loved
without doubt or worry or question
If I had you here, I would see the colors of Heaven
the glorious beauty of you
If I had you here, your words would caress me
leaving me light and airy with perfection
If I had you here, we would be one again
living a reality of fantasy in the arms of poetry

I love you...

before he left he showed you who you are. Agreeing with God, that you needed and deserved love as real and true as the love of the one who created you. it was his last assignment on earth. in return he discovered his value. he was worth the life of God's son. That was your assignment. he now enjoys his reward and would want to see that you have retained that mantle of respect and value and the elevation of love he struggled to his last breath to bestow upon you. a true fairytale. better known as God's love story.
