I'm Missing You

Night after night, I lie awake in bed.
Thoughts of you constantly run through my head.
I'm going a bit crazy, I haven't slept at all.
Every now and then, teardrops start to fall.

Girl, I'm missing you.
I should be kissing you.
I hate we're so many miles apart.
Yes, I'm missing you.
I should be kissing you.
You know, I have a sad and lonely heart.

I go through the motions, get by day to day.
Friends ask me how I am; I don't know what to say.
I smile and tell them I'm ok, they know that's not true.
They see it on my face how much I'm missing you.

Girl, I'm missing you.
I should be kissing you.
I hate we're so many miles apart.
Yes, I'm missing you.
I should be kissing you.
You know, I have a sad and lonely heart.

I've made a decision; I know just what to do.
I'll to pack a bag, pay the fare and fly straight to you.
Standing at your front door, I'll hold you close and say.
There are no more miles between us, I'm here to stay.

I'll be kissing you.
No longer missing you,
We're no longer so many miles apart.
I'll be kissing you.
No longer missing you,
I will have a very happy heart.
