Is it so inconceivable
So very unbelievable
That a man and wife
Who parted in strife
Can thereafter get along?

Why is it so improbable
So clearly damn impossible
That it could simply be
A little girl's plea
That'll convince them they are wrong.

So very true. A divorce can somewhat be a pain to any involved - and the happiness of a sibling should be entirely first matter.

Would change immeasurably
The brain chemistry
Altering priorities
To what they need to be
