A question

Being Nothing

Through love of another
we try to forget oneself

Through beauty of another
we hopes to acquire beauty.

Like a desert, we are
Through lover,family and friends
moreover through belief,
we try to flower the desert

Creating hooks and links in everything
Hidden in this,
is pain and uncertainty
Making the desert more arid

Look again, it's still the same
neither more arid nor less

We escape through attachment
with its pain and then escaping
that pain into detachment

But we remains arid and empty as before
Shouldn't we stop escaping
and accept this isolation inside?
Isn't this the truth?
Being Nothing.

Learnings from 'learnings'...
However, I feel we should never give up being who we are... are we definitely are not 'nothing'...
We are precious people...
I loved the poem because of its wisdom and beauty, rhythm and the truthfullness it potrays... our hopes and wants...

LOL,
Amy

The world seem so barren at times, that we feel like no part of it. A very intriguing poem. Thankyou for sharing, once again.

Regards,
John.
