Pictures From The Past

Pictures from the past,
must be treasured, stored, and kept to last.
For each tells a story about from whence we came,
so that our children, and grandchildren,
know what it means to bear their name.

Photo's are very sentimental, and so is this explanation of why. But even the photographs with sentiment can still be destroyed. Ultimately, history is remembered. Such a pleasure to read. Thanks.

Your friend,
John.

You've made me picture my own past . . . how different it was then when three-generation homes were common; how furtunate I was to grow up living with my grandmother, her stories, her wisdom that connected me to my past in a way that few children today can appreciate.
