The Bottom Line

It's not easy to find a new way to say it.
That doesn't make the feeling any less true.
I've tried poems, songs and other ways to convey it.
The bottom line is Darling, I love you.

I love every little thing about you.
From your curly hair down to your painted toes
I love the way your green eyes sparkle.
I love your smile and your button nose.
I love the way you make my heart sing.
I haven't felt this good in years.
I love our every conversation.
I love the laughter and I even love the tears.

As time goes on, it will get harder,
To find new ways to tell you how I feel.
That is unless I become a damn site smarter.
The bottom line is the love I feel is real.

I love every little thing about you.
From your curly hair down to your painted toes
I love the way your green eyes sparkle.
I love your smile and your button nose.
I love the fact that you have a big heart.
It shows in everything you say and do.
I don't love that we're so far apart.
The bottom line is I'm in love with you.

Years from now when we're both older
And wrinkles form like they are apt to do.
Just rest your pretty head upon my shoulder.
Because, bottom line, I'll always love you.

I love every little thing about you.
From your curly hair down to your painted toes
I love the way your green eyes sparkle.
I love your smile and your button nose.
There really isn't anything to say, love.
No accolades are good enough to do.
You are an angel sent from above.
The bottom line is Baby, I love you.
