My Love Song

I was driving in my car today
As I often do.
In the silent solitude
My thoughts turned to you.
I thought about that awesome smile
And your gorgeous face.
I thought about your sparkling eyes
And my heart began to race.

Do you know how much I love you?
Do you know how much I care?
Do you know how much it hurts,
For me to be here and you there?
I want to wrap my arms around you
And dance with you all night long.
I want to hold you near, whisper in your ear,
The words to my love song. My love song.

As I drove along the highway,
Some things would catch my eye.
I'd see you on a billboard
Or in a cloud up in the sky.
I'd hear you on the radio
With your voice, oh so sweet.
I'd reach out to touch you
But there's no one in the seat.

Do you know how much I love you?
Do you know how much I care?
Do you know how much it hurts,
For me to be here and you there?
I want to wrap my arms around you
And dance with you all night long.
I want to hold you near, whisper in your ear,
The words to my love song. My love song.

Daydreaming while I'm driving
Is not the safest thing to do.
It seems I missed an exit,
Back a mile or two.
I get so lost in thoughts about you.
I don't really care
It may take me a bit longer,
But eventually I'll get there.

Do you know how much I love you?
Do you know how much I care?
Do you know how much it hurts,
For me to be here and you there?
I want to wrap my arms around you
And dance with you all night long.
I want to hold you near, whisper in your ear,
The words to my love song. My love song.
