Our hearts were shattered on that very day,
sweet precious angel you went away,
the sorrow overwhelmed us, and still exists,
for our little angel so greatly missed,
We cannot comprehend the reasons
you had to go,
we had planned on the years watching you
grow,
sharing your life, making you smile,
never once thinking you'd be here a while.
Only God knows the reason you had to depart,
and could only live on within our heart,
Could it be to take care of everyone,
grandma, cousins, me and my son?
Could it be you were to special to live
on earth,
and God recognized this right at birth?
Little angel kisses are sent your way,
you are loved and missed every single day.

A beautiful tribute to the love and light that, even though short, touched so many. The saddest sight I have ever seen was the tiny casket of my still-born niece. Nothing tests one's faith more than the death of a child.
