I feel depressed with the winter weather here in Germany.It is cold and sometimes drizzling .


Some Sunshine!

The sky is in lighter shades of Grey
aah these drizzling drops add to my dismay.
I see the frost strangling the grass
and smile longed on my lips to pass.

Dormant stand these nude trees
without those glossy green leaves.
The wind tussles with my umbrella
and freezes my hands inside the gloves.

No high hopes to shrink the time
just a small wish for some sunshine ,
some small warm rays to kiss my cheeks
when I walk along the bank of River Rhine....

Same here; the gloominess of seasonal weather gets to me as well, if I don't watch out for it. And the wishing for sunshine goes on, thank God for the gift of poems.
