Not writng much these days, so here's a repost. Another's recent poem reminded me of this one.

The Real Terror

All

Came from

The same sparks

Of stardust.

Yet,

The source

Of intercourse

Between

Ignorance and arrogance

Results in

Spurious ideas

And ruins

The orgasm,

Leaving cultural frigidity

To feel

The heat

Of the suicide bomb.

Back to

Stardust

All.

Deep meaning in short lines. This poem is dynamic.

John Ashleigh
Unique, and vivid. Yet composed and collected. I really enjoyed this, Melanie. I hope you find more inspiration. Keep writing!

Your friend,
John.

The circle of life, stardust to stardust. The "intercourse between ignorance and arrogance" is just the moment in between.
