The thoughts that popped into my head today in Fort Myers Island Beach Florida, waiting on my spouse's upcoming surgery a few days away from now.

Like the Ripples in the Water

In the Underground

There are no Echoes

Where there is no Sound.

The enigmatic silence

Enshrines the time

And moments fade into each other.

All Fear is folded,

And vacated from the brain.

Solemn and Sanguine,

The Rest seeps in

With Sacred Stillness.

But the mind still vibrates

With vital visions,

Fighting back for a Future-

With God's voice

Echoing in my head

A reminder that

"Christ Bled".....

And I am led to sip HIS cup

That DISHONORS the Diadems of Depravity.

This Life is just

A ripple in the water,

Breath to Breath

Until the Death.

The decibels will decease

In the carnal beasts,

To be delivered once again,

Purified and redeemed into new men.

And while the rest of us

will be granted life again-

Only those judged for perdition

Perish in a Lake of Fire,

Extinguished forever as

The Forgotten Godless Sons of Sin.

Without a doubt that third to last stanza is a gem... that is not to decry the whole, it is just that that one struck me the most. Blessings, Allen

Such a gem, resplendent; in this stanza embodied:
"This Life is just

A ripple in the water,

Breath to Breath

Until the Death."
