A Real Starship

The Earth is a Starship,
And everything is within,
All the creative elements,
And that's how it all begin.

It's sources of power,
Are based upon Light,
It's method of movement,
All started out right.

But along the way,
It was caught up in Time,
So it begin to soften,
And the surface turned to slime.

Then as it was taken,
So close to a Sun,
It's heat, and Earth's moisture,
Started its run.

Life as it started,
Was raw, and was hard,
But more Time was passing,
Some things became marred.

It's peaceful beginning,
Became Chaos, at best,
And now on the surface,
Life was a test.

As denseness appeared,
From a gaseous state,
Man became upright,
And filled his own plate.

Now separated from God,
And here on our own,
We find it quite hard,
Not to cry or to moan.

Well, this life too,
Will someday pass on,
And now what we have,
Will all soon be gone.

But what we receive then,
Will be greater than all,
And we will know from God,
The writing on the wall.

And once again this Earth will start,
A mission of it's own,
And will travel once again,
To create another home.

As it's a ship of Light,
And lights the way each time,
And repairs all things,
While yet, in their prime.
