DOWN IN THE DUMPS

So far down in the dumps ,

I cant get out , has I try ,

I'm so browned off ,

Cut the ropes that bound me ,

Now in chains that hold firm ,

To clime out , the sides ,

Collapses ,

I slip back down , deeper ,

I goo ,

No way out for me ,

Why oh why , it's me only me

I can empathise, but writing here amongst friends is a way through and up, take care.

Based on my own experience (and most everyone has been there at some time) the only way out is through . . . others can encourage us but we have to find the way to the other side on our own, because how we got there, how we get through it, is uniquely personal. You have many friends here and our thoughts are with you . . . you're not as alone as it may seem.

I fall into that trough quite often, Ken. You're right; it is only you. You've got to get the hell away from yourself to climb out.
