The variety of mortal love

A small part of the period we live
Yet less time for joy we have to give.
Tragedy and grief remains a long
A melancholy beats all happy song.
Plenty of dreams and joys kept for tomorrow
But life ends before much time we borrow.
Heaven knows we have to leave one day
Oh try never to consider arrival of the day.
Alone we born alone we die
To seek friend heart and soul why we try?
Love; the forces to overcome every agony
Oh see how short the lover accompanies.
Longer we wish to live together happily
Forgotten how death separates ruthlessly.
No values of our existence yes our existence
Beloved one forgets us slowly.
So I ask myself why this should
The girl would do me more good...
