This is my first poem, I would appreciate your opinion.


Moonlight Muses

Night landed on my shoulders,
and the moon smiled to me as if the night is mine.
Stars gathered around me as if I'm the queen of the night.
In that night light went off,
the breezes escaped but
they escaped to me,
I chilled, such a breathtaking moment
were hopes became so true..

I especially like your first line. But rather than tell you my opinion, I will tell you what my favorite teacher told me: read, read, read. Then read some more. Learn from those who came before you, then take what you've learned and make it your own.
