Can I Cry Now?

Can I cry now you have become a corpse?
I'm not sure.
I was taught to care for all souls
And to shed tears as they welled.

I suppose a leader who has to plead
For life after a pursuit by his people
Is bound to die.
Can I cry?
Yes I can but not for you...
My tears are for us left behind...
With this awfully new agenda.

Blilith
Nobody deserves to die, whatever they have done, the world would be a better place with respect and care, no wars, no greed, there is no no need.
Let us live together hand in hand and maybe get to the promissed land, who knows ?

With love
Blessed be
Blilith the Witch

powerful poetry with a subject matter that reveals what darkness and hatred cause...death.

Ghaddafi does not deserve your tears, Jenks. We need to save them for the children of this world. This poem is such an understatement ... I am in awe of the ability to pull that off effectively. :-)
