Scapegoat

When some endure a sinking sensation
'Cause they feel they've missed the boat
They try to hide their ego deflation
By bullying a scapegoat

While they drown in Insecurity
Scapegoats won't help them swim
Bullying amorality
Will make their life more dim

The boat they missed may yet return
And if they're able to climb aboard
Perhaps they'll lose their scapegoat yearn
With their self respect restored
