Talking takes people but it doesn't need people together. We can be anywhere yet see the same day in our different ways.

Let Us Talk Together

Let us sit down and talk together
We will do so by those stars
We shall share today
You will judge whether
The moments will be ours
I will listen to what you say

So where do we begin the day
What part do you call the start?
Is there a minute you could choose?
What do you want to say?
So I can listen with my heart
There is little time to loose

The day is running much too fast
We haven't got much time
There are so many words to use
They never seem to last
They never neatly stand in line
They express too many views

Look first at what's the same
Compare the way we feel
Then add the colours in separate ways
Like a picture building game
That makes the stories real
So each minute lasts for days

When we are done with talking
When we turn to lie and sleep
We'll know we've made connection
That wherever we go walking
We will ever always keep
A continual talking celebration

This is really what we do here, and why, as writer and reader.

Look first at what's the same
Compare the way we feel
Then add the colours in separate ways

and that's the essence of what we do, what you do particularly well.
