A valentines poem. -13th February 2012.

My rapture.

The spring begins within your eyes,
Petals and the bract unfolding.
The agreement of our cobalt skies
Behind the light you are holding.
That charmed smile reassures me,
Omitting any doubt life gives.
The walls come down a'plenty,
And again you let me live.

I hope someone was on the receiving end of this beautiful piece. Hadn't heard of the word bract before, so thanks for the education! It's a lovely uplifting piece.

I don't know if this was intentional or not but check out the end word of each line:
'Eyes unfolding, skies holding me, gives plenty, live'
It's almost a perfect sentence, don't you think?
I enjoyed the read, well done!
Keep writing and smiling!
