today i woke up

and i realized something

i realized that you

weren't in bed with me

and i slept better.

I can't pretend to understand

why it happened but

it did and i was happy

but sad all the same

without you im better

but with you its easier.

life was stable, reliable

now, everyday is the unknown,

it took me a week to build

a new routine that

didnt include you

but now i have my head

i have my own space,

i think my own thoughts,

do what i want. and its

liberating really, so

reviving and different.

today i woke up
